MTS is a global mining technology consultancy specialising in four core areas:
Consultancy: Mining technology assessments, operational audits, roadmaps and feasibility studies.
Training & Change Management: Targeted mentoring for dispatchers, operators, and site administrators to ensure technology adoption.
Software Solutions: Our software solutions are built by miners for miners. Our software boosts the productivity of your team, remove them from manual spreadsheets and enables more timely decision making.
Business Intelligence (BI): Because we already speak 'mining' and 'data' fluently, we don’t waste time scratching our heads. We get straight to the point, turning your complex data into actionable dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana—while the other guys are still looking for their hard hats.
-
Yes, we are totally independent of any vendors of fleet management systems, asset health solutions, other systems and indeed mining equipment manufacturers (OEMS). This enables us to make truly agnostic recommendations where we are not incentivised to sell a particular product or solution and we pull from a broader set of resources.
-
Unlike generic firms that provide broad, high-level advice, MTS combines deep mining expertise with advanced data and systems knowledge. We bridge the gap between theory and reality by delivering rigorous technical studies and hands-on implementation. Instead of vague strategies, we provide data-driven solutions built specifically for the complexities of the mining industry, ensuring measurable operational impact.
-
No. We bridge the gap between multiple teams on a mine site including IT.

Haul Road Explorer is a productivity tool that streamlines the monitoring of haul road conditions and operational behaviours. It extracts data from onboard equipment sensors and fleet management systems to identify road defects, high-rolling resistance areas, potential safety hazards and more. This allows maintenance teams to prioritise repairs, extending tire life and improving cycle times. It enables mine operations and maintenance to identify poorly performing operators and pieces of equipment with potential problems.
-
Yes. We understand that off-the-shelf software often lacks the flexibility needed for specific sites. MTS specialises in bespoke custom software that connect disparate data streams—such as fuel management, tire pressure monitoring, and FMS— enabling task automation, downstream systems integration and unified reporting.
-
Absolutely. We provide unbiased, expert guidance during the mining technology selection process. We help mining companies evaluate vendor capabilities, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and develop technology roadmaps to ensure the selected systems align with their long-term operational goals.
-
Our BI engineering team leverages industry-standard tools including Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Grafana. By using these existing platforms, we reduce the need for expensive new software licenses and ensure that your team can easily manage the dashboards long-term.

MTS supports sustainability by using data to optimise fuel efficiency and reduce energy waste. We help mines track and lower their carbon footprint by improving haulage efficiency and reducing idle times, directly contributing to net-zero targets.
-
MTS operates globally with headquarters in the United Kingdom. We have supported over 70 mining operations across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Australia, and the CIS, providing both remote and on-site services.
