The extraction of minerals and metals is essential in providing the materials for the worldâs continued decarbonisation. Essentially, if it is not mined, itâs grown and it is therefore important that this is done in the most responsible way possible. Right now, there is a significant acceleration in the need for mining operations to digitise, reduce their carbon foot print and reduce costs at the same time. In parallel, the growing need for the world to decarbonise and the subsequent boom in demand for EV materials is opening up new and innovative methodologies.

The MTS team is spread across the UK, Ukraine and Hungary. Although being dispersed across multiple countries, we still like to make sure the wider team meets up on occasion to collaborate on projects, catch up over a pint and maybe even climb a local mountain.
Open Positions
Mining Analytics Engineering Consultant (Hybrid)
Weâre looking for an entry-level consultant (0â2 yearsâ experience) with a background in mining, engineering, or data-related fields, and a strong interest in applying technology and data to improve operations. Youâll support global optimisation projects, work with data and visualisation tools, and collaborate with clients to solve operational challenges. This role involves frequent international travel and a mix of site-based work and remote analysis in dynamic mining environments.
Lead Mining Optimisation Consultant (Full-Time, Remote)
Competitive salary + bonus. We're looking for a consultant with 5+ years' mining (or related) experience, including 2+ years in a technology-focused role. You'll lead and deliver global optimisation projects, mentor junior team members, and report to senior management. This role involves extensive international travel (Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific) and a mix of field-based work on mine sites and remote data/visualisation analysis in challenging environments.
